- Farmbake is a brand sold by a Australian company Arnotts.
- It is distributed to more than 40 countries in the world including New Zealand
- Arnotts has been around since 1869
- They specialise in chocolate biscuits, sweet biscuits (Farmbake is included in this category) and crackers
- Today, Arnott's employs thousands of people and supplies biscuits to more than 40 countries around the world. Millions of Australians have grown up on Arnott's and for them, Arnott's is more than a food company, it's a piece of Australia's history.
- It supplied bread, pies and biscuits to the local townspeople as well as to the crews of the many ships that docked at the port to load coal. From these humble beginnings rose a company whose name is now synonymous with Australia's favourite biscuits and snacks.
- Arnott's is one of the largest food companies in the Asia Pacific region, with a very bright future. Arnott's on going growth has been supported by the Campbell Soup Company's investment in Arnott's and its iconic brands.
- More than 50,000 Australians have worked with Arnott's during the past century. Today, Arnott's employs more than 4,300 Australians across all States and Territories. Arnott's also employs several thousand people across the Asia Pacific region, in countries such as New Zealand, Indonesia, and Greater China

Chocolate Chip (Tasted)
The biscuits tasted pretty good. They had a decent amount of chocolate chips in them which melted in your mouth. Being in a bag though they tended to come out broken which is ok, but they are left with very fine crumbs all over them which can make you cough!
Chocolate Chip Fudge (Tasted)
These taste just like the original chocolate chip but with a slight chocolaty taste. Being fudge, you'd think they may be softer but they are just as crunchy as the chocolate chip option. There were less broken pieces in this bag.

Recently I found myself wanting a delicious biscuit, the kind Grandma used to make for your visits, the kind that sat there starring at you begging to be eaten but could only be had if you sufficiently performed your tasks as a child of the household to grannies satisfaction.
The ones, a nice subdued sunshine colour, buttery as all hell, pressed on top with an old bobbin to create that fantastic little design that meant extra crispy top bits.
Avoid like the plague.
I thought, well, I can try my luck with this Arnotts Farmbake Cookie. It sold me on the idea of it being somewhat homely, a home away from home perhaps.
Well… they sucked. Not just, mediocre by biscuit terms, but awful, truly awful. I have had some bad biscuits in my time, but this is the worst, far worse then the cheapest gingersnap from ‘Bobs Discount Food Barn’ or some homogenised $1 shop. You thought you wanted a delicious biscuit… might I suggest Aunty Kaths Cookie Dough, at least there is no pretend grey haired, old lady at the helm, just a grandma in training.

Large pieces of peanut are not in evidence – what peanut there has been chopped into small pieces.
